An enjoyable task in a really beautiful setting. We spent the day opening up a circular pathway to form part of a new woodland walk, clearing and burning some of the invasive rhododendron, and also creating a few gaps on the water’s edge to provide some viewing points over the scenic lake. The frozen surface of the lake and also the carpet of snowdrops in the wood made the glorious location even more dramatic. |
