Allotment and Barbecue 19.08.06

We had a good day working on the allotment on Saturday, with an excellent turnout of volunteers helping out during the day. The pictures below show some of this year's produce, including some weird and wonderful varieties of squash, and some overgrown courgettes, and also a couple of pictures of the adjoining orchard – now starting to bear some fruit! In the evening we had a rather damp barbecue which was enjoyed by all despite the weather. Many thanks to Lawrence for supplying the food, Martin for doing most of the cooking, and Jo for providing the barbecue and the gazebo (€5 worth!) which came into its own.
